Aquafil’s focus on environmental responsibility is more than an initiative, it’s our passion. Our efforts have spawned an innovative new Nylon product, Econyl, and the patented “Lactam Direct Recycling (LDR®) system” to breakdown Nylon scrap to its basic raw materials for polymerization into prime resin.
Who We Are
Aquafil USA is a part of Aquafil S.p.A., an integrated global supplier of Polyamide (Nylon) Polymer, Yarns, Textiles, engineering plastics, and sustainable compounds. Aquafil produces over 200 million lbs. of Nylon products in these forms annually.
What We Do
Aquafil USA has integrated the production of BCF Yarn, Plastics, and Color Technology at its USA HQ facility in Cartersville, Georgia. This "circle of life" design is part of the Aquafil corporate sustainability initiative.
